CV NEWS FEED // The Knights of Columbus are inviting men to meditate on their sonship in God through a special 40-day prayer program that culminates in a consecration to Jesus through Our Lady of Guadalupe.
“Just as Our Lady of Guadalupe restored Juan Diego’s hope, she can help you restore your sonship in God the Father,” the Knights said in the message promoting the program titled “Sons in the Son.”
The program, based on the book Sons in the Son by Fr. Innocent Montgomery, CFR, offers a “dive into the meaning of Catholic masculinity,” and aims to “encourage you to examine your own life and faith,” according to the Knights.
The program will begin November 2 and conclude December 12, the feast day of Our Lady of Guadalupe, with an Act of Consecration to Jesus through Our Lady.
Participants will receive video reflections from Fr. Innocent every eight days, corresponding to the book’s five themes, along with daily reflections that can be accessed on the Knights of Columbus website.
“Men, now is the time!” the Knights said. “Rely on Our Lady of Guadalupe as your intercessor and rediscover your sonship in God the Father.”
