Social media users have been licking their chops at the chance that swamp creature Adam Schiff might be facing a serious investigation. The California Democrat’s critics, such as FBI Director Kash Patel, allege he fabricated serious elements of his case against Donald Trump. As the calls for justice mounted, many expressed their eagerness to see Schiff brought to justice.
Adam Schiff infamously led the prosecution against President Trump in his first impeachment trial when the House of Representatives charged him with abuse of power and obstruction of Congress. Now that Trump is back in power, there have been calls to investigate Schiff to determine if he violated the law, and apparently, Schiff himself was starting to get nervous as soon as November 16, 2024.
In his post, Schiff revealed his guilty conscience. He posted, “Trump wants to avoid FBI background checks for the likes of Matt Gaetz and Tulsi Gabbard? A president who cared about the country would want to make sure their nominees were not child sex traffickers or fond of dictators. But it’s never been America first. Only Trump first.”
Users pounced on the woke California Democrat for his collusion with the FBI and evident moral failings. One reply read, “You’re the guy who colluded with the FBI to frame Trump the first time right?” Others called out his hypocrisy for being so focused on background checks. Tony Segura noted, “Schiff would never pass a security clearance background check. Many Americans do not realize both Houses are exempt from needing security clearances.”
Some comments advised Schiff to stop whining and accept the results of the 2020 election. A reply read, “Adam Schiff can cry all he wants. America rejected the Democrat Party this election in dramatic fashion. The “background checks” were the elections. Trump gets to appoint whoever he wants and get them confirmed fast. If he needs to use recess appointments we’re fine with it.”
Others, such as Scott Ritter, objected to trusting the FBI with approving cabinet members. He said, ‘If you think “America first” is even remotely synonymous with “trust the FBI, “then you’re the problem, not the solution. And you are the problem.’ Another objected, “Why would anyone trust the FBI after everything that happened?” A comment in the same vein explained, “We’ve seen what the FBI does to people that don’t align with leftist political “values”. Trump is right not to trust them.”
Some commented that Senator Adam Shiff would not have done anything without the FBI as his attack dog. One read, “The FBI needs to be completely reformed, preferably taken apart. What are you going to do, Adam, if you don’t have the FBI to run cover for you anymore?”

Many brought up the irony of Schiff’s remarks. A quote tweet read, “Has Senator-elect Adam Schiff EVER had a FULL background check for a high security clearance? Maybe it’s time for the FBI to check up on him… What else would they find except for LIES on top of LIES?”
