Kristin Cavallari is revealing the qualities she wants in her next partner.
The “Very Cavallari” alum was answering listener questions on Tuesday’s episode of her “Let’s Be Honest” podcast when someone asked her to “describe [her] perfect soulmate.”
“I’m looking for someone who is loyal and honest,” said Cavallari, two days after her alleged hookups with Morgan Wallen and Jason Statham were revealed. “I’m very f–king honest and transparent, and I want that in return.”
Cavallari — who shares three kids with ex-husband Jay Cutler — added that she needs someone who can “match” her lifestyle. She wants a partner who is both a “homebody” and someone who can “go out from time to time and turn it up and have a good time.”
“I think it has to be someone who’s kind of in the same phase of life as me,” she continued. “I am not looking to grind anymore. I’ve sort of curated my life to be this perfect work-life balance.”
The “Hills” alum, 37, explained that she wants a partner “who’s not hustling and trying to get their career off of the ground,” because she’s looking to retire in “the next few” years.
“It’s someone who’s just, like, not in that hustle mode, who isn’t in the mode of having something to prove,” she said. “I’m over that phase of having something to prove, which makes me really happy, because it was fun, and I had that fire in me, but I’m too laid back now for that, so I need someone who meets me there.”
Another quality Cavallari is looking for in a partner is their ability to take accountability — calling the inability to do so a “dealbreaker.”
The Uncommon James founder also wants someone who has already “worked through their trauma,” noting that doing the work creates a stronger bond.
“I’ve really worked through my s–t, and I want someone who’s done the same,” she explained. “I just think that’s a deeper intimacy of being able to connect and really knowing who you are and how you function in the world and how you’ve navigated your whole life, really. To me, it shows a real depth when someone’s done the hard work and really gotten in there and figured things out.”
Cavallari also hopes her future partner is her “equal” — someone who “is bringing a lot to the table” and who can “teach [her] things and help [her] grow and lift” her up when she needs it.
“I’ve chosen guys in the past where I do a lot of the lifting up, and I want to save these guys and help out these guys, and I’m done doing that,” she shared. “I want someone to lift me up, and I want to learn and grow from someone.”
Cavallari reiterated that she wants someone “who is really grounded, who is always looking to improve, who is always wanting to learn and grow.”
Finally, Cavallari said the two final aspects she’s looking for is someone she has both “chemistry and compatibility” with in the long run.
“I’ve realized it’s so hard to find both, and I’m not settling until I have both,” she maintained. “I have compatibility with probably a lot of people, and that’s lacking the chemistry piece. Then, I’ve had amazing chemistry with a couple guys in the last four years, but the compatibility piece is missing.”
The “Balancing in Heels” author summarized her thoughts by listing out her three crucial elements — “the chemistry, the compatibility and someone wanting to grow with you [and] being in the same phase of life.”
She added, “I will never settle for anything less than that.”
Cavallari shared her thorough requirements after confirming that she was single and “not actively looking to date right now.”
The mom of three has had several public relationships over the years. She was previously married to Cutler from 2016 to 2022.
Following their split, Cavallari has been linked to Jeff Dye, Chase Rice, Brody Jenner and most recently, TikTok star Mark Estes.
Her dating life made headlines earlier this week when her friend revealed that she had hooked up with Wallen and Statham in the past. In a video shared via Instagram, her pal referred to Statham as the “hottest hookup she’s never told anyone about” and teased Cavallari for “going back” to Wallen after he allegedly “hurt her feelings.”
