Jason Kelce has revealed that wife of six years Kylie 'hates' pet names - admitting that he is not allowed to call her things such as 'baby' or 'sweetie.'

The couple, who recently announced they are expecting their fourth child, made the admission during a recent appearance on YouTube series Good Mythical Morning as they played a game with the hosts called Are We Closer Than A Married Couple?

Hosts Rhett and Link wanted to see if they knew each other better than Jason, 37, and Kylie, 32, and played a game where they had to answer a series of questions and guess their partner's answer.

One particular question asked: 'If your partner had to choose a new name, what would it be?' with the options being Echo, Baby, Appaloosa, Flash and Onyx.

After Kylie chose her answer, Jason was also forced to guess when he admitted: 'Kylie hates pet names or nicknames, so I think it's not baby.'

The former NFL player then revealed: 'I call her Jo because when she played hockey she reminded me of a baby kangaroo the way she squatted down, so I called her Joey and I narrowed it down to Jo, that's my only nickname.'

'And you're okay with that one?' the hosts asked Kylie, to which she replied: 'Yeah, that one's fine.'

'But as he tried other ones?' they probed further, adding,  'Sweetie? Snookums?' as Kylie fired back: 'Ohhh sweetie, he's not allowed to say!'

'Because of what?' the hosts asked as Kylie explained: 'There's certain nicknames, sweetie, babe, baby, hon, honey, that you can only be called those things by like a waitress in a diner.'

She continued: 'And otherwise, in Philadelphia it takes on this sort of like, "okay hon," almost like a "bless your heart," it's like sharp. It just feels aggressive in a way that is not welcome.'

Jason then set about trying to guess which name his wife had chosen and said: 'I feel pretty confidently it's either Appaloosa or Echo.'

However, he ended up getting it wrong when he put all of his chips on Appaloosa as Kylie had actually chosen the name Flash.

Kylie asked her husband: 'Why did I go with Flash?' but the former sportsman looked very confused.

Turns out his cat growing up was called Flash, but Jason still couldn't see the correlation and blurted out: 'What does that have to do with this?'

'I thought we were gonna be on the same page!' Kylie fired back, as the hosts swiftly moved the game along.

It comes just days after Kylie fired back at critics who took offense at her use of curse words in front of her children.

In a trailer for her brand-new Not Gonna Lie podcast, which debuted last Thursday, Kylie admitted that she swears in front of her three daughters - Wyatt, Elliotte, and Bennett - 'on a daily basis.'

Kylie decided to hit back, specifically to a New York Post article about her admission.

'The problem that I have here is... was it probably an exaggeration that I curse in front of my kids every day? Yes,' she began during a segment titled F**k Around and Find Out.

'Do I curse in front of my kids most days? Also yes. But my kids know, like I said before, that they are grown-up words.

'They don't try to use them, they don't say them, they don't stop in their tracks, they're not appalled by them. Because I'm not using them at my children, they're just used in front of my children.'
