Lame duck Joe Biden's gamble on a global war

Departing US president Joe Biden… has taken one of the most provocative, uncalculated decisions of his administration, which risks catastrophic consequences... Joe Biden gave the greenlight to Ukraine to launch the American-made long-range ATACMS missile system deep within Russian territory. WWIII, anyone?

Following Donald Trump’s electoral victory this month, the lame duck administration of Joe Biden gave the greenlight to Ukraine to launch the American-made long-range ATACMS missile system deep within Russian territory, according to various news outlets including Reuters and The New York Times.

On November 19, Ukrainian news agency RBC-Ukraine reported that the Kyiv regime staged its first attack on Russia with American-supplied ATACMS missiles, an assault that was further verified by Ukraine’s National Security and Defence Council. Ukraine used the American-made missiles to strike a military facility in Russia’s Bryansk border region, as per media reports.

With Donald Trump scoring a marked electoral win in the recent US presidential elections, it seems that Biden is trying to leave the White House as a sore loser, leaving behind a terrible legacy of a destabilizing global situation.

Notably, Kyiv’s use of missiles signifies a new phase in the ongoing Russo-Ukrainian conflict, one that Russia has decried as a clear intensification of hostilities. Moscow also indicated that it will react “accordingly”, based on reports by Al Jazeera.

“This is, of course, a signal that they want to escalate,” Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, stated, with reference to Ukraine’s strikes.

“The fact that ATACMS were used repeatedly in the Bryansk region overnight is, of course, a signal that they want escalation,” Lavrov added, Reuters reported.

“We will be taking this as a qualitatively new phase of the Western war against Russia. And we will react accordingly,” he elaborated, condemning Washington for helping Kyiv operate the missiles.

On the same note, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said:

“Kyiv’s use of long-range missiles to attack our territory would mean the direct participation of the United States and its satellites, as well as a radical change in the very essence and nature of the conflict.”

Likewise, Russian senator Vladimir Dzhabarov called Biden’s authorization “an unprecedented step towards World War Three”.

Alarmingly, the BBC also purported to have obtained information from British officials that Ukraine has used British-supplied Storm Shadow missiles attacking targets in Russia’s Kursk Region.

Similarly, the website of the Russian government newspaper Rossiyskaya Gazeta stated

“Departing US president Joe Biden… has taken one of the most provocative, uncalculated decisions of his administration, which risks catastrophic consequences.”

Previously in September, Russia revealed that strikes against Russia with the ATACMS would be a considerable escalation, with Vyacheslav Volodin, the chairman of the State Duma, warning that Russia would have to use “more powerful and destructive weapons”.

Following Biden’s bombshell announcement, Russian President Vladimir Putin unearthed an amendment regarding Russia’s nuclear doctrine that states that “an attack from a non-nuclear state, if backed by a nuclear power, will be treated as a joint assault on Russia,” the BBC reported

Moscow’s updated nuclear doctrine allows retaliatory attacks against NATO for the kind of assaults that Biden reportedly approved recently, former Russian president Dmitry Medvedev also cautioned, according to Russia Today (RT)

Russia reserves the right to retaliate with weapons of mass destruction against Kiev and key NATO facilities, wherever they may be located,” Medvedev warned.

“This would amount to World War III,” he continued.

Upon closer scrutiny, it appears that the ailing and increasingly desperate Biden is staging a last-ditch attempt to salvage his political and financial interests in war-torn Ukraine, amid others.

Alarmingly, the BBC also purported to have obtained information from British officials that Ukraine has used British-supplied Storm Shadow missiles attacking targets in Russia’s Kursk Region.

Previously, UK Defense Secretary John Healey told the British Parliament that London was “doubling down” on its support for the Kyiv regime, maintaining that “Ukraine’s action on the battlefield speaks for itself”, as per an article by RT.

Additionally, various Telegram channels have purported that up to 12 UK-supplied missiles have been launched to attack the Kursk region on November 20, RT reported

Besides, a GrayZone report dated November 16 claimed that the UK  government has been trying to prolong the Russo-Ukrainian conflict “at all costs”. British journalist Kit Klarenberg published another report in August asserting that the abortive Kursk offensive by Ukraine was a “British-led operation.”

With Donald Trump scoring a marked electoral win in the recent US presidential elections, it seems that Biden is trying to leave the White House as a sore loser, leaving behind a terrible legacy of a destabilizing global situation.

After all, hawkish globalists have invested their political (and financial) future on Russia’s defeat in Ukraine, with anti-Christian billionaire George Soros participating in the 2014 American-backed Maidan Coup, supervised by Nuland, who was then the US under-Secretary of State.

Needless to say, critics like Marjorie Taylor Greene, designated national security adviser Mike Waltz, and Donald Trump Jr have slammed Biden for trying to start a Third World War.

For example, Trump Junior regards Biden's recent decision as being about the “military industrial complex” trying to “get World War 3 going before my father has a chance to create peace and save lives.”

Upon closer scrutiny, it appears that the ailing and increasingly desperate Biden is staging a last-ditch attempt to salvage his political and financial interests in war-torn Ukraine, amid others

Similarly, Biden’s rationale for provoking more tensions with Russia can be applied to fellow warmongers like Victoria Nuland, Lindsey Graham, Ukraine’s top salesman Volodymyr Zelensky, and others of their ilk.

After all, hawkish globalists have invested their political (and financial) future on Russia’s defeat in Ukraine, with anti-Christian billionaire George Soros participating in the 2014 American-backed Maidan Coup, supervised by Nuland, who was then the US under-Secretary of State. Even a self-censored CBS report divulged that only 30 percent of weapons and ammunition supplied to Ukraine ultimately reached the armed forces, while the remainder disappeared due to criminal corruption.

Eventually, this Russo-Ukrainian conflict is not about “saving democracy”, but more about safeguarding these warmongering elites’ financial and personal interests.

So much for the talk about a “smooth transition” from Biden to Trump then.  !important;">
