Late shift in swing state campaign cash signals ‘PANIC’ for Kamala Harris campaign (NC & Wisconsin)

Cracks in the Democrats’ blue wall are only part of the story as last-minute campaign reallocation of advertising dollars spell out a shift to defense.

“I’ve never seen such panic.”

Well before early voting began or nominees were even official for the major parties, it remained clear that seven battleground states were pivotal to securing the White House. Now, with a week remaining in the race, reports show Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign is pulling money from “TWO key swing states,” to shore up a third as well as a less-considered commonwealth.

Daily Signal columnist Tony Kinnett reacted to the Election Wizard account posting about the $2 million pulled from North Carolina, “One week out from election, and the Harris-Walz campaign has pulled money & advertisements from TWO key swing states (WI, NC).”

The Carolina Journal reported that Raleigh, where Harris was expected to campaign on Wednesday, was the only media market where she was leading former President Donald Trump as polling put him ahead 12 points in the Hurricane Helene-ravaged West, as well as 9 points ahead on the coast. The vice president was leading polling 55% to 40% in the Triangle area of Chapel Hill, Durham, and Raleigh.

Simply terrible. The Triangle is an armpit, BTW.

I’m pretty salty and have seen lots of wild stuff in my years, so I am mentally prepared for a Trump loss and will be just fine if that happens. That said, I think he’ll win and the schadenfreude and bathing in commie tears is going to be VERY enjoyable.

She can’t lose Wisconsin. So why would she move cash out of there? Didn’t she have a Billion dollar war chest?

The Harris team has more money than they know what to do with. Democrats always have more money than Republicans. Pretty good for the party of “The Little Guy.”

I can understand NC after Biden/Harris pathetic hurricane response.

But WI is an eye opener.

To: willk

Wisconsin is new to me.

It is hard to believe she would not fight there tooth and nail.

It has to do with the bad turnout in Philadelphia if you look at the direct twitter posts.

Yeah, I thought if she lost WI it’s all over.

“ She can’t lose Wisconsin. So why would she move cash out of there? Didn’t she have a Billion dollar war chest?”

It’s her retirement fund. She can move the cash to a PAC. Then pay herself and her family salaries from the PAC.

Give PAC money in return for board and trustee positions.

Basic graft. She knows she will lose and this is Plan B. It’s the loser version of the Obama Library that will never get built. Or the Clinton Foundation.

To: willk

She HAD a billion dollar war chest.

Her biggest problem is that the super rich donors have figured out she is going to lose, so they turned off the spigot.

Also, advertising consultants get about a 15% cut of expenditures and they don’t care if the advertising goes where it is needed most.

Kamala also spent huge money way too early in her campaign when not many are paying close attention.

Same for Wisconsin. If Trump wins Wisconsin, he has it wrapped up.

Democrats may know Kamala is going to lose and they are now putting resources into down-ballot races.

A billion just doesn’t go as far as it used to. Darn that inflation eh Kamala!

Sounds more like right wing propaganda to me. We need to wait for more sources. Her campaign may deny this.

Trump was always well ahead here in North Carolina. I’ve said it for months. Any claims to the contrary were laughable push polls.

Nice it says some NC money was reallocated to VA.

I’ve been saying VA was in play since the senate debate.

Doom on these inept clowns who want to dictate to you about what kind of cars and kitchen stoves you can buy/

As Tucker Carlson was saying, these liberal elites are not smarter than you, They are inept ideologues. Most often corrupt as there is always a money web of beneficiaries to their harebrained schemes/ Such as various NGOs and businessmen/

Trump may not actually WIN in NY, but I think his strategy is to not just win the electoral vote, but also the national popular vote.

I think there are a lot of untapped Republican votes in deep blue states who don’t bother to show up because they have been convinced their vote won’t matter.

I think Trump is motivating them to show up anyway.

I’m seeing that in PA. Lots of tv ads for down-ballot candidates.
