LeBlanc’s visual update is finally landing on patch 25.07, but the PBE build of the game has players worried she’s going to take over the game. They didn’t even buff the champion, but her new update has some quirks that make her a lot stronger.

When it comes to bringing old champions into the modern era, there are a number of different ways Riot will go about doing it. Sometimes, they’ll completely overhaul a champion’s kit to fit a new theme, e.g. Skarner. Others, they’ll do a small-scale update/rework that changes an ability or two but keeps them mostly intact. Naafiri’s rework is a good example.

LeBlanc, however, has virtually no alterations to her gameplay. Her abilities are the same, her damage numbers are the same, everything is (supposed) to be the same.

But, as a result of some changes in the way her animations play out, she’s become a significantly better character in the hands of seasoned veterans. She’s accidentally been buffed to the moon in patch 25.07.

LeBlanc’s visual update (accidentally) broke her

So, what’s the problem with LeBlanc? If her numbers are the same and none of her abilities have been changed, what could possibly make her so much stronger now?

Simply put, her W is a bit too loose with how it functions now. She can do pretty much anything she wants during her dash.

LeBlanc expert bobqin showed off the tech, revealing she can use her Q and E while dashing. This includes the ult dupe, meaning LB players with fast hands can set up a mean burst combo while they’re dashing.

She’s now able to 1-shot people without much interaction. She was already able to do that before, but being able to load in 2 Sigils and pop them with your dash is a ludicrous amount of damage to put out.

There’s a good chance Riot will try to patch this out before her visual update goes live, but, in the case that doesn’t happen, LeBlanc will be extremely oppressive when these changes release.
