I’m not picking a side at all in this beef, but LeBron doing this on ESPN… Wow!

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James made an appearance on the Wednesday edition of “The Pat McAfee Show” for quite the interview, doing so to address the tension between him and ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith.

The original confrontation that sparked things up took place Mar. 6 during the Lakers-New York Knicks game. (RELATED: Utter Chaos Erupts In Nets, Pacers Game After Bench-Clearing Scuffle Breaks Out)

“He completely missed the whole point,” said James. “Never would I ever not allow people who talk about the sport to criticize players about what they do on the court. That is your job to criticize… That is all part of the game.

“When you take it and get personal with it, it’s my job not only to protect my damn household but protect the players. I think a lot of the media, including him – and I know he’s going to be happy as hell when he hears me talking about him. He’s going to get home and grab some ice cream out of the f*cking freezer and sit in his chair in his tighty-whities on the couch. Relax, bro.”
