I’m thinking he’s had time to think about his cabinet picks this time knowing what Washington is really like.

If you think about it, if Trump had been allowed to rightfully win in 2020, back-stabber Pence would have been infecting the administration as VP for the past 4 years. He would have probably done irreparably damage and set back the MAGA movement by miles by compromising with the Dems. I don’t think a president can just fire a VP who’s been duly elected.
