Lenny Kravitz, 60, stuns fans with his VERY youthful appearance at Paris Fashion Week - so is his unusual diet and skin care routine the reason?

He turned 60 over the summer - and yet, Lenny Kravitz looks just as youthful now as he did 30-odd years ago when first making a name for himself.

The rockstar stepped out at the Saint Laurent's womenswear show at Paris Fashion Week on Tuesday, alongside his 35-year-old daughter, actress Zoë Kravitz.

Cutting an edgy figure in a large black trench coat which featured exaggerated padded shoulders, the four-time Grammy winner showcased a wrinkle-free complexion alongside his impressive dreadlocks and designer stubble.

When compared to photographs of the Are You Gonna Go My Way hitmaker in the early '90s, he appeared to have barely aged as he attended the glamorous event in a pair of flared trousers and a black and white pinstriped shirt.

But what's the secret to his age-defying looks? According to Lenny, its 'a combination of genes, self-care, hard work and discipline', The I Believe in Love Again singer revealed to The Guardian in May after his 60th birthday.

Lenny maintains his fit 5ft9in frame with a strict vegan and primarily raw diet and he works out five or six days a week with longtime trainer Dodd Romero.

'I'm really pushing myself to become stronger. I've been training pretty hardcore, like an elite athlete, the last couple years. Because it's all about longevity now. And also preparing my mind. All of it works together. Glory to glory,'  he explained in his CR Men cover story.

'There are no shortcuts,' Lenny noted. 'You gotta show up and do the work. And I'm dedicated to that. I'm doing everything I do, but I'm still getting up and doing that training hardcore.'

He continued: 'We all get emotional. We get tired. And we want to remedy that by perhaps taking in things that aren't healthy for us: food, alcohol, drugs, this, that, whatever. It's learning when you feel that emptiness, you feel that deficiency, go snack on something spiritual.'

His relaxed lifestyle, living in the Bahamas, certainly helps.

In 2020, her told Vogue he rubs sand on his body to exfloiate.

'It's very, very, very powdery, very, very fine,' he told Vogue. 'So when I'm in the ocean, and I want to scrub my body, I use the sand.' 

The Fly Away hitmaker's muscular body was on full display when he went nearly nude for the Tanu Muiño-directed music video for his new single, TK421, which has amassed 5.3M views on YouTube since premiering October 12.

He has also showcased his eight-pack abs on his Instagram account, sharing a clip in June of him jumping rope while topless as he prepared for his 19-date Blue Electric Light Tour. 

So committed to exercising whenever he can, the star has become known for sometimes wearing unorthodox workout clothing, including leather trousers and flared jeans, in his videos.

Explaining his unusual gym attire, he told Variety: 'I'm always working out in leather pants or jeans and boots and whatever — if I'm not doing cardio. If I'm doing cardio, obviously I'm going to wear sweats because I'm going to be sweating all over the place. But if I'm lifting weights, I don't sweat so much.'

So committed to exercising whenever he can, the star has become known for sometimes wearing unorthodox workout clothing, including leather trousers and flared jeans, in his videos 

He went on to explain that he often chooses to hit the gym at the spur of the moment, so he simply wears his standard attire for the day.

'So, a lot of times I'm coming from somewhere or I'm going somewhere. And I just don't care. I'm gonna pop in, I've got 45 minutes, we're gonna hit it and I'm gonna go run to where I'm going. So I don't do it for effect,' he explained.

'I didn't do that to be like, 'Oh, let me be just so different and wear leather pants and glasses.' No, it's just me walking in off the street.'

Meanwhile, in his interview with The Guardian, Lenny also talked about being celibate for nine years after finding himself becoming a 'player' like his father Sy Kravitz.

'I didn't like it. I didn't want to be that guy. So I had to tackle that and it took years... by taking responsibility. Discipline. Not letting my own desires take over,' Lenny said.

The singer admitted his love of routine and predictability might hamper the search to find a life partner.

'It's a spiritual thing,' he said of his abstinence and lifestyle. 'I have become very set in my ways, in the way I live.'

Lenny and ex-wife Lisa Bonet, 56, divorced in 1993 and have 35-year-old daughter Zoë Kravitz together.

The singer went on to begin dating model and singer Vanessa Paradis, and they remained together until 1996.

He was subsequently engaged to both Adriana Lima and Nicole Kidman, although neither relationship progressed into a marriage.
