Lindsey Graham Defends Trump Calling Kamala Harris ‘Mentally Disabled’ By Arguing Her Polices Are ‘Batsh*t Crazy’

Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) defended former president Donald Trump calling Vice President Kamala Harris “mentally disabled” by arguing her policies are “batsh*t crazy.”

In an interview on CNN’s State of the Union Sunday, Jake Tapper played comments from Trump at a rally Saturday in which he attacked the vice president’s cognitive function.

“Kamala is mentally impaired….Joe Biden became mentally impaired, Kamala was born that way…If you think about it, only a mentally disabled person could have allowed this to happen to our country.”

“First of all, there are actual people out there with mental impairments, and that’s insulting to them,” Tapper said — coming out of the clip. “Second of all, Vice President Kamala Harris is not mentally impaired.”

“No,” Graham replied. “I just think she’s crazy liberal.”

“But what do you think about that rhetoric?” Tapper said, pressing.

“I just think the better course to take is to prosecute the case that her policies are destroying the country,” Graham said. “They’re crazy liberal.”

After listing various critiques of the vice president’s record and policy positions, Graham added, “I’m not saying she’s crazy. I’m saying your party, your policies are batshit crazy.”

“They’re not my policies,” Tapper replied.

Lindsey says some accurate things. He's not really like the typical establishment Republican. Also saying "your party" to Tapper was an excellent tactic. Attack whatever remains of the pretense that the media is non-political.
