Lisa Hogan has sparked controversy among Clarkson's Farm fans after revealing comedian Ellen DeGeneres, 66, had been invited for a night out at Jeremy Clarkson's pub, The Farmer's Dog.
On Thursday morning, Hogan took to Instagram to share a video from the previous night's antics at the Cotswolds pub where pop group, The Corrs, had popped in to perform.
Hogan recorded herself enjoying the music along with a handful of big-name guests, including Natalie Imbruglia, James Blunt, DeGeneres, and her wife Portia De Rossi.
The Clarkson's Farm star captioned the social media update: "@thecorrsofficial thanks for the acoustic check & for swooping by on your night off the tour!
"Trilled to confirm @thefarmersdogpub sounds great. @jeremyclarkson1 @natalie_imbruglia @jamesblunt @ellendegeneres @portiaderossi," Hogan signed off to her 625k followers.
Several fans soon rushed to 'like' and comment on the post but before long, some fans began hitting out at DeGeneres's invite following her tumultuous time in showbiz over the past few years.
"Is that Ellen Degeneres and her partner…" one follower queried. "If so would have been cool a few years back but once you know you know."
"It is exactly what I thought too," a second replied before a third claimed: "Dangerous association."
Another follower branded DeGeneres "evil" while a fifth similarly hit out: "Wow..so Keir Starmer is banned from the pub but that absolute clown Ellen Degeneres is allowed in.. wow."
However, others rushed to defend the 66-year-old's inclusion in the post with one fan sharing a series of applause emojis alongside the words: "Ellen & Portia in the mix... Also...cheers from South Africa!"

The controversy surrounding DeGeneres's inclusion comes after the end of her long-running self-titled talk show in the USA.
The Ellen DeGeneres Show was marred by controversy after 10 former employees accused the show of "bullying" and harbouring a "toxic work environment".
DeGeneres had previously faced accusations of having a "mean" reputation among staff and guests on her show, most notably from comedian and podcast Kevin T Porter.
DeGeneres issued a statement in response to the allegations, taking full responsibility for failings within the workplace culture and apologising to those affected.
The comedian made one final return to the spotlight earlier this year in a new Netflix comedy special, after which she insisted she'd be "retiring" and was "done" with show business.
During her final comedy tour, DeGeneres faced her cancellation head-on, saying during her set: "It’s been such a toll on my ego and my self-esteem. There’s such extremes in this business, people either love you and idolise you or they hate you, and those people somehow are louder."

She also told audience members: “Honestly, I’m making jokes about what happened to me but it was devastating, really.
"I just hated the way the show ended. I love that show so much and I just hated that the last time people would see me is that way," she added, according to Rolling Stone.
DeGeneres looked in high spirits as she partied with Clarkson's Farm star Hogan, however, waving to the camera as she enjoyed a break from life Stateside.
Meanwhile, Clarkson is gearing up for a trip to the capital on November 19 to join hoards of independent farmers who'll be protesting the inheritance tax raid set out in Chancellor Rachel Reeves's Budget.
