Lizzo shared a new update about her weight loss journey on Saturday.
The “Truth Hurts” singer took to Instagram and showed off her slimmed-down body after reaching her weight loss goal.
“I did it,” the 36-year-old captioned her post.
“Today when I stepped on my scale, I reached my weight release goal. I haven’t seen this number since 2014!”
She continued, “Let this be a reminder you can do anything you put your mind to. Time for new goals!”
Alongside an image of her wearing a dark red two-piece workout set, Lizzo shared her weight loss stats. The graphic showed that she lowered her body mass index (BMI) by 10.5 and lost 16% of her body fat since starting her journey in January 2024.
The singer also took to TikTok over the weekend and shared a video of herself talking about her “intentional weight loss journey.”
In the video, which was filmed at the start of her journey, Lizzo said she’d never be considered “thin by any means.” She said she’d still be labeled “morbidly obese” on the BMI scale and men on the internet would still call her “big backed,” but at the time, she predicted she’d be “happy” once she hit her goal weight, and now, she’s confirmed that.
“I am happy. I did it,” she exclaimed in a follow-up video included in the same TikTok post.
Over the past few months, the “About Damn Time” singer hasn’t been shy about showing off her slimmed-down figure on social media. She even showed off her dramatic weight loss in a black bikini earlier this month.
Fans have been so blown away by Lizzo’s weight loss that the singer previously sparked Ozempic rumors.
However, in September 2024, the “Juice” songstress denied claims that she was taking the celeb-loved Type II diabetes drug to lose weight.
“When you finally get Ozempic allegations after 5 months of weight training and calorie deficit,” she wrote in an Instagram carousel.
She further joked that the allegations were “like a reward” after spending months in the gym.
Along with workout out, Lizzo started eating healthier in order to reach her goal.
