London's Metropolitan Police arrest suspected perpetrator of US embassy bomb hoax

London's Metropolitan Police arrested 43-year-old Daniel Parmenter on suspicion that he may be the party responsible for the hoax explosive placed outside the US embassy last week, according to British media reports on Monday.

Parmenter, from west London, appeared at Ealing Magistrates' Court on Monday, according to Sky News. He will appear before the Old Bailey on December 23.
