GAZA — In a bold act of solidarity, Grammy-winning rapper Macklemore staged a surprise rooftop concert in Gaza on Wednesday, performing his gay anthem "Same Love," before being promptly thrown off the roof by terrorists.

Before his impromptu trip to the ground, Macklemore told the audience that no one should be judged for who they love. Sources said the mood shifted during the second chorus of "Same Love," when the singer was grabbed from his perch and thrown off the roof to chants of "Kill the infidel!"

The rapper, who found himself at the center of controversy this week after being pulled from a tour with Ed Sheeran over his "Free Palestine" activism during a performance, reportedly sought to perform in front of the people he championed, only to find himself sailing off the roof at their hands.

"He kept saying ‘love is love,'" one concertgoer told reporters. "We thought he was talking about something else. But then we realized he was talking about gay stuff. I'm not sure how he didn't know we throw that type of stuff straight off the roof."

At publishing time, Macklemore's friends had released a statement calling the incident "complicated," "context-dependent," and "not representative of the broader 'Free Palestine' movement."

The Babylon Bee finally exposes everything about the Jews in this documentary of hard-hitting investigative journalism.
