Macy's Thanksgiving Parade's new Wednesday Addams float has been torn apart by armchair critics after it made its debut at the 2024 celebrations.
Based off Jenna Ortega's character in the hit Netflix drama, the latest edition was among the 17 giant, helium-filled character balloons, 22 floats, and 15 novelty and heritage inflatables in rainy New York City on Thursday morning.
But according to social media users, the figurine looks 'more like Thursday than Wednesday.'
Viewers didn't hold back their brutal criticism online, with many also comparing it to fellow Netflix show, Squid Game.
Taking to X, one remarked: 'I don't know what day of the week that is but it's not Wednesday.'
'Squid Games vibe haha,' added another.
A third observed: 'She isn't in the mood for Thanksgiving... Halloween instead?'
'Not my Wednesday,' said a fourth.

The strange edition was based off Jenna Ortega's likeness in the Netflix drama
'It looks weird, if you don't mind me being honest,' a fifth added.
A sixth continued: 'I legit thought this was an ad for the new Squid Game.'
Echoing a similar sentiment, another wrote: 'Now we just need a Squid Games float to look like Wednesday and we in business.'
Coming-of-age supernatural drama Wednesday premiered on Netflix in 2022.
Starring Jenna in the lead role, the television series follows the troubled teen as she attempts to adjust to her new high school while also realizing she has inherited her mother's psychic abilities, which allow her to solve a local murder mystery.
Netflix has slated Wednesday season two for release in 2025.
Besides the new Wednesday balloon, this year's celebration has welcomed a float to honor Rao's food brand, which featured a knight and a dragon in battle made with actual pasta elements.
Another marked the Bronx Zoo's 125th anniversary with representations of a tiger, giraffe, zebra and gorilla.

'The work that we do, the opportunity to impact millions of people and bring a bit of joy for a couple of hours on Thanksgiving morning, is what motivates us every day,' said Will Coss, Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade executive producer.
This year's Macy's Thanksgiving Parade, which marks 100 years, began at 8.30am on Manhattan's Upper West Side.
It is scheduled to end 2.5 miles (four kilometers) away around noon at Macy's Herald Square flagship store on 34th Street, which serves as a stage and backdrop for performances.
Rain has been falling across the northeast this morning, but the parade will continue.
It has only been cancelled three times, from 1942 to 1944 during World War II - but organizers will be monitoring wind speeds throughout the festivities to make sure it's safe for the big balloons to fly.
So far, the forecast calls for rain with temperatures in the upper-40s and winds around 10 mph (16 kph), well within the acceptable range for letting Snoopy, Bluey and their friends soar.
