Conservatives slammed Georgia Democrat Jon Ossoff after the senator ridiculed Donald Trump during a Saturday rally in Georgia over his relationship with young aide Natalie Harp.

Ossoff, considered a contender for his party's presidential nomination in 2028, drew cheers at a rally Sunday after he referenced Trump's close relationship with his 35-year-old executive assistant.

He told supporters: 'See, he doesn't want to do the job. He wants to build his ballroom and travel with Natalie on their apparently defenseless flying palace gifted by the emir of Qatar.'

On Monday, conservatives and even Trump himself hit back at Ossoff for his comments, with Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna calling him an 'arrogant a**.'

In a video posted to social media, she said Ossoff 'took time to be an arrogant, sexist a**. I don't know how else to say it.'

'Is it not possible for young women that are attractive to be, I don't know, good at their jobs? Being elevated to positions of power based on the fact that they're qualified for these positions?'

Luna accused Ossoff of focusing on 'spreading a rude, disgusting rumor' about Harp rather than dealing with important issues.

She also praised Harp for her work with the President and for being a bone cancer survivor.

CNN's Scott Jennings also went on the attack against Ossoff in a post of his own on Monday.

'This is quite a message for the Democratic Party to send to young women working in politics. Party of women? Pretty ugly stuff.'

However, White House Communications Director Steven Cheung may have gone further than anyone, calling the senator 'Jon Jackoff.'

'Jon Jackoff has to be the biggest cuck loser in politics. Instead of denigrating hard working people serving their country, Jon should look deep into his soul and ask himself why he's a miserable person who hates this country. It's because he's a radical, extremist Dumocrat,' he wrote.

Ossoff responded to the media interest in his comments in an interview with MS Now Monday night, saying he referred to Harp because he believes she's one of his 'enablers.'

'Well, I’ve heard this particular aide referred to as his security blanket. And I think we could say that about any number of the senior aides in the White House. They’re not telling him what he needs to hear. They’re telling him what he wants to hear,' he said.

Trump himself angrily shouted 'quiet' at a female CNN reporter after she asked about his relationship with Harp.

CNN's Kristen Holmes asked Trump for his response to Ossoff's claim that he would rather 'build his ballroom and travel with Natalie' than do the job of the President.

Trump called Ossoff a 'Pee-wee Herman lookalike' and said that 'we're fixing a White House that hasn't been taken care of.'

Scrutiny over Harp's closeness to Trump comes as Melania has done about half as many events in Trump's second term compared to his first, according to NBC News.

She did not attend Lindsey Graham’s funeral, the revamped White House Correspondents’ Association dinner or the July 22 dignified transfer of four fallen US service members.

Harp, meanwhile, was spotted at Trump's side this weekend as the duo shook hands with supporters at the President's Bedminster golf club in New Jersey. Harp was wearing a sleeveless turquoise top, with her blonde hair in a ponytail as she accompanied Trump.

Harp was one of only a handful of aides Donald Trump kept beside him last month when he slipped off Air Force One in Turkey and boarded a decoy military jet.

The escape was prompted by intelligence about a shoulder-fired missile threat to the President's plane on the final day of the NATO summit in Ankara.

Trump hid inside a catering truck to reach the second aircraft, joined by Harp, deputy chief of staff Dan Scavino and Oval Office operations director Walt Nauta.

Other cabinet officials, including Marco Rubio, Scott Bessent and Stephen Miller were all left behind on the larger plane.

Harp's grip on the President was laid bare in June by New York Times reporters Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan in their book Regime Change.

The authors reported that Harp left private notes for Trump in his personal spaces, one of which read: 'You are all that matters to me.'

Swan said the letters were strange enough to draw the attention of the Secret Service, and the disclosure reportedly stunned Susie Wiles.

Haberman and Swan also quote Trump telling staff that Harp loved him as much as his wife and children did.

'All of you will go off and make money,' Trump reportedly told his own staffers. 'She'll never leave me.'

As previously noted, Melania was absent from last month’s dignified transfer ceremony at Dover Air Force Base honoring US troops killed in the Iran war.

Trump was instead accompanied by Harp, who wore a somber, all-black dress for the occasion.

The Daily Mail have reached out to the White House and Ossoff for comment.
