A couple from Malaysia has gained widespread praise online after gifting iPhones to their two domestic helpers to thank them for their dedicated service over the years.
Jeff Leong and his wife Inthira Kalanjiam share their daily life and travel experiences on their YouTube channel Jeff & Inthira, which boasts 1.2 million followers.
In a video released on September 21, the couple surprised their two maids with brand-new iPhones, attracting more than 145,000 views.
The family employs two Indonesian domestic helpers, Sri and Neneng, who have been with them for two years, handling household chores, cooking, and taking care of the young children.
The couple’s two-year-old daughter Xixi joined in on a game with the domestic workers before surprising them with the gifts.
In the video, both helpers squealed with excitement, and Neneng, with tears of joy, exclaimed: “This is unbelievable! Thank you so much, madam and sir.”
