A 30-year-old man has been charged following a fatal hit-and-run collision in Smethwick which claimed the life of a two-year-old boy.
Sharjeel Shahzad was arrested on Monday in connection with the incident - which left four other people injured.
The crash occurred on Dartmouth Road just before 11pm on Saturday evening, with emergency services rushing five people to hospital.
A woman aged 29 and a 30-year-old man who were travelling in the same vehicle as the child sustained serious injuries.
