Man, 30, shot dead in hail of bullets at NYC pier: cops

A 30-year-old man was shot dead in a hail of bullets during an argument at a Brooklyn pier Sunday morning, police said. 

John Garvin was blasted in the head and body multiple times when a dispute exploded into violence near the Belt Parkway and Rockaway Parkway at the Canarsie Pier around 3:14 a.m., police said. 

Medics rushed the bullet-riddled victim to One-Brooklyn Health-Brookdale Hospital Medical Center, but he could not be saved.

Garvin lived about a half mile away from where he was killed. 

It wasn’t immediately clear what the tiff was over, police said.

His grief-stricken family wept and embraced at the blood-soaked crime scene hours after the senseless shooting, the Daily News reported.

Detectives were spotted combing the area for evidence on Sunday morning.

No arrests have been made arrests, and the NYPD was hunting for four suspects.
