A transformative new conservation initiative is underway for the Greater Mana Pools Ecosystem in Zimbabwe, through a partnership between Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Management Authority (ZimParks) and the Peace Parks Foundation. This collaborative effort aims to improve biodiversity, bolster anti-poaching measures, and upgrade tourism infrastructure while involving local communities. The region, part of the Lower Zambezi-Mana Pools Transfrontier Conservation Area, is home to diverse wildlife, including endangered species. The plan is designed to create a sustainable, ecologically thriving environment that benefits both wildlife and local populations.
