Mandy Moore confirmed that she welcomed her third child, a baby girl, named  Louise Everett, in a heartwarming Instagram post on Wednesday.

The 40-year-old actress announced the exciting news to her more than 5.5 million followers by sharing a black and white image of her cradling her newborn, shortly after giving birth.

In the image, taken by her doula Rebecca Coursey, she can be seen beaming with joy as she held her baby girl and looked over at her husband Taylor Goldsmith.

'Lou is here! Louise Everett Goldsmith arrived happy, healthy, expeditiously and right in time for Virgo season,' she captioned the post. 'She is our absolute dream girl and her big brothers are already as obsessed with her as we are.'

The Golden Globe nominee continued: 'Endlessly grateful for our family of 5 (and our very own big three) and soaking in every moment of this special time.'

In addition to their baby girl, Moore and Goldsmith, 39, are also parents to two sons — three-year-old August 'Gus' and Oscar 'Ozzie,' who is nearly two.

In late May, Moore announced her third pregnancy on Instagram in a joint post with Goldsmith, the lead singer of Dawes.

'Sometimes life imitates art,' she wrote in the caption of a post showing their two sons wearing 'Big' and 'Middle' sibling T-shirts.

'The third in our own Big Three coming soon,' she added. 'Can't wait for these boys to have a baby sister.'

Moore famously portrayed Rebecca Pearson on NBC's hit series This Is Us.

Her character and Jack Pearson (Milo Ventimiglia) were the parents of 'the big three,' triplets Kevin (Justin Hartley), Kate (Chrissy Metz) and Randall (Brown).

The parents welcomed their first child in February 2021 and had their second in October 2023.

They revealed they would soon be welcoming another addition to their growing family just shortly after Goldsmith gushed about Moore in his Mother's Day tribute earlier this year.

'Happy Mother's Day to my incredible wife,' he penned on Instagram.

'It's the hardest job there is, and you are the best at it. And thanks for booking all the doctor and dentist appointments. I love you.'

He also dedicated his post to his mother.

'Happy Mother's Day to my mom,' Goldsmith wrote. 'You can't be such an amazing grandma without being such an amazing mother as well. I love you.'

He also wished a happy holiday to 'all the moms and moms-to-be out there!'

In mid-August, Moore reciprocated, gushing about her husband to Us Weekly and how she knew he was 'The One' she would marry and start a family with.

In late May, Moore announced her third pregnancy on Instagram in a joint post with Goldsmith, the lead singer of Dawes

'We met at a sushi restaurant and had one of those epic four-hour meals where, like, the restaurant closes around you, and that was it. I knew very quickly that he was The One,' she told the outlet in an interview published on August 15.

And on the topic of motherhood, she dished: 'Your life just becomes technicolor after being black-and-white before [kids]. It's the best — I love it.'
