Searches for Invisible Woman increased by “3,000%” upon her reveal for Marvel Rivals. We all know the obvious reason as to why this was the case.

Marvel Rivals proved to be an absolute smash hit right out of the gate. Launching in December, 2024, the game instantly drew over 10 million unique players and has since gone on to attract over 40 million in total.

Developers have been keeping the community engaged with new content drops, events, and the like, though the biggest update thus far was the Season 1 patch, which included two new characters.

The Fantastic Four made their way to Marvel Rivals in two batches, with Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman first up on January 10, 2025. One proved to be a bit more popular than the other though, and I think we all know the reason why.

Invisible Woman’s launch cosmetics certainly had a little something to do with the uptick in searches.

Invisible Woman searches up “3,000%” thanks to Marvel Rivals debut

“When we announced the Fantastic Four, the Google searches for Invisible Woman went up 3,000% in that period,” Marvel Games Executive Producer Danny Koo told PC Gamer.

Now, plenty of these searches could be due to genuine intrigue in the character. What’s their backstory in relation to the rest of the Marvel Rivals roster? But given some of her launch cosmetics, I think we all know the real reason why the search volume was so high.

With some on social media pleading for the character to “smash [them] between those thighs,” Invisible Woman quickly stood out thanks to her character model and some particularly revealing skins.

“Invisible or not, you can’t hide that LOL,” another player said at the time.

Of course, plenty of other characters on the roster have been oogled in much the same way. Even Venom’s cheeks drew plenty of attention shortly after the game’s release. Yes, that’s a real thing that happened.

From Resident Evil’s viral Lady Dimitrescu to Gemma from Monster Hunter Wilds, the gaming community hasn’t been quiet about its thirst in recent years, and clearly, Marvel Rivals players are similarly… engaged.
