Megyn Kelly slammed admirers of accused UnitedHealthcare CEO shooter Luigi Mangione as “a–holes” and “cretins” on Tuesday – insisting she was “really over this nonsense” of those cheering on the Ivy League suspect.
The podcast host took fawning lefties of Mangione, 26, to task a day after he was arrested and later charged in the high-profile murder of health insurance executive Brian Thompson.
“Can I just say I’m really over this nonsense, this guy is not a hero at all,” Kelly said on her show Tuesday. “We should not be lauding his good looks – which really aren’t existent – all over the internet.”

The midtown Manhattan shooting sparked a days-long manhunt before Mangione was spotted in a Pennsylvania McDonald’s and captured by authorities. He is in custody in Keystone State as he fights extradition to New York.
But some have shamelessly celebrated Mangione and contributed thousands of dollars toward an online fundraiser for his legal defense.
Users on X, TikTok and other online platforms have also fixated on his looks – and there was even a lookalike contest for the alleged killer in the Big Apple over the weekend before Mangione was caught.
“I’m so grossed out by this reaction to the murder of this insurance company CEO and it’s pretty widespread on the left how they are lionizing the alleged murderer,” the ex-Fox News host said.

“This guy Brian Thompson has two boys … and their father was killed three weeks before Christmas and these a– holes are talking about how they want to sleep with the killer, how hot he is, what a hero he is for taking out the CEO of a company in an unpopular industry,” Kelly said. “… Screw you for talking about his abs you disgusting cretins.”
Authorities are investigating whether a back injury suffered by Mangione in July 2023 sparked his alleged cold-blooded murder, a police official said Wednesday.
