A Michigan hospital has been placed under lockdown following an active shooting.
At least one person has been taken to the emergency room following the incident at Corewell Health Beaumont Troy.
Staff have barricaded themselves inside the hospital as the suspect remains on the loose.
Police confirmed a shooting had taken place at the hospital, located 24 miles north of Detroit, just after 8am on Thursday.

Troy Police confirmed that a shooting had taken place at Corewell Health Beaumont Troy Hospital Thursday morning.
The force stressed they believe it is an isolated incident, but warned the suspect remains at large.
Members of the public are being urged to avoid the area.
