Mike Adams Sermon 47: GARLIC as God’s natural medicine against infections and high cholesterol
The 47th sermon of the Health Ranger Mike Adams for the Church of Natural Abundance discussed garlic as God's natural medicine against infections and high cholesterol.
Basing his sermon from the book of Numbers in the Old Testament, Adams said garlic is one of the most important and most easily grown herbs in the modern world.
"It's a way to grow your own natural antibiotics, also a multi-faceted antibiotic, multi-layered system that avoids antibiotic resistance because garlic attacks microbes from dozens of different chemical strategies. You could say it's not just one isolated chemical; it is dozens of chemical compounds acting in concert," the Bible nutrition educator explained.
He cited a study published July 2021 in Frontiers in Microbiology that looked at the antibacterial properties of garlic's organosulfur compounds. According to the paper, garlic's compounds combine sulfur atoms into effective molecular configurations that have various properties. These compounds exhibit potent antibacterial against a wide range of bacteria strains, including those resistant to multiple antibiotic drugs. "So this is why garlic is so special when regular prescription antibiotics from the world of shadow medicine fail," the Bible nutrition educator remarked. "Garlic can hammer those drug-resistant strains; yes, garlic is known for doing that."
Garlic's benefits for cardiovascular health also commendable
Garlic's antibacterial nature also makes it a useful expectorant in the treatment of tuberculosis. It can also help men with virility and erection problems.
Outside its antibacterial properties, Adams noted garlic's benefits for cardiovascular health, particularly its cholesterol-lowering qualities. Garlic has a high content of free amino acids, primarily the amino acid arginine. It is used by the cells that line the artery walls to manufacture nitric oxide and facilitate blood flow.
Allicin, another compound in garlic, protects the meanwhile protects the body from bacteria and accelerates healing from gunshot wounds. It also alleviates hypertension and lowers blood sugar.
Dr. James A. Duke, in his book "Herbs of the Bible," mentioned that garlic juice was medicinally prescribed to treat intestinal infections, respiratory ailments, snake bites, melancholy and hypochondria. Garlic juice mixed with oil can cure skin diseases, ulcers, wounds and insect bites. Adams continued that the same mixture of garlic juice and oil can be used as drops for earaches, mentioning how he used it to cure the ear infection of his pet dog, a Belgian Malinois.
In folk remedies, garlic provided relief from tumors and headaches – whether it's through inhaling vapors from the garlic stalk, applying a poultice made from garlic bulbs, or massaging with an ointment made from garlic roots. Meanwhile, an ancient manuscript from India mentioned the use of garlic to cure abdominal tumors.
The Bible nutrition educator encouraged those listening to his sermon to take advantage of growing garlic and to keep a supply of it. People should also give thanks to God every time they see a garlic growing, as this is a sign that His miracles are working daily.
"Garlic may be the single most powerful emergency medicine herb that you need to grow because it does so many things. It is so incredibly powerful. It's easy to grow and it has a lot of off grid uses, emergency medicine uses," Adams said. "It is incredibly potent, and again, it's free. It can be used for all kinds of things,"
