A mom has revealed the shocking demand her husband made to their four-year-old son.
The unnamed woman took to Reddit to reveal her spouse no longer wanted their son referring to their one-year-old daughter as cute.
She revealed that her son had enraged her husband when he branded his sister a 'cutie baby.'
The anonymous dad claimed that the 'next' step would be their son calling his sister 'sexy' and 'exposing himself.'
In light of this, the mom admitted that she found it to be a 'very twisted take.'
However, her husband's demand caused her to start questioning her own opinions.
So, she asked people on the web for their advice.
In a thread simply titled Parenting, the mom detailed the shocking situation.

She titled the post: 'Son calling baby sister cute.'
The mom explained: 'My son who is four called my daughter who is one a "cutie baby." My husband yelled at him that he's not to call his baby sister cute.'
Because she didn't agree, the argument continued.
'He asked me if I agreed and I said I don't see anything wrong with calling a baby cute.
'He said, "What's next? He'll call her sexy and then expose himself to her?" I find that to be a very twisted take. Am I missing something?' the mom added.
People on the web flooded the comments section and slammed the dad-of-two for his comment.
One person said: 'You are missing nothing. Your husband needs therapy. I feel sorry for your son, and your daughter once she grows up.
'To sexualize a four year old, practically a toddler, calling a baby cute? Does he want your son to hate the child? To yell at a child for saying such a thing is very damaging to the child.'

Someone else wrote: 'Your poor son. I hope you comforted him and told him it is very sweet of him to call his baby sister cute.'
'Red flag from the husband right there,' one user said.
After receiving a wave of comments, the mom updated her opinion.
She said: 'Thanks for the replies. Unfortunately, sometimes I need reassurance with these things. But this is the reassurance I needed to know he's the problem here.'
