Mom left mortified after teacher makes shocking find in son's Walmart jeans

It may be Halloween, but one mom received a totally unexpected scare when she received a peculiar text from her son's teacher.

Mom Crystal Starnes had sent her five-year-old son, Hudson, to school wearing a new pair of jeans - only for him to somehow find a condom in the pocket.

His teacher texted Crystal about the curious discovery, with the mortified mom sharing it in a now-viral TikTok. 

'Good morning!' the text read.  'Let me first say Hudson is NOT in trouble over this lol!'

The text continued: 'He came up to me before recess and pulled this out of his pocket asking what this was.

'I did not tell him what it was,' the teacher assured. 'Just that I will dispose of it and let you know we discovered this!'

Along with the text, the teacher had sent a picture of a single, non-latex condom in a wrapper.

'That my friends, is a condom,' the mom said bluntly, pointing to the picture. 

After texting the teacher back - saying she had no idea where the condom came from - the educator said they asked the boy where it had come from, thinking he could have picked it up off the ground.

Hudson replied he had found it 'in my pocket.' 

After assuring the teacher that it wasn't hers or her husband's - adding she was 'so embarrassed'  - the teacher replied that the situation was under control.

In an interview with People, Crystal explained that she and her husband had been together for seven years, and she had her tubes tied when Hudson was a baby, so her son pulling out the form of birth control was a huge shock. 

'So we've not had any use for condoms in our home,' she explained. 'So when his teacher says he found one in his pocket, it was very shocking.'

'I was surprised, and I thought it was hilarious,' she added. 

While many users also saw the humor in the situation, others have gone on down a dark path, convinced that Crystal's husband was cheating on her.

'Baby I’m gonna hold your hand when I tell you this…,' one user wrote.

In a follow-up video, Crystal explained that she had bought the jeans from Walmart and hadn't washed them before her son wore them to school.

'I got them out of the [Walmart] bag that morning, took the tags off, took the stickers off, and put them on his little body,' she explained.

'My husband's doing nothing wrong,' she continued. 'I'm doing nothing wrong.'

Other users agreed it was not unusual for people who have either shopped at Walmart or have young boys.

'That's absolutely hilarious!! You’re right, you never know what’s going to happen,' one user commented.

'Boys are definitely and handful. Mine still is and he’s almost 21. There is no end in sight so don’t look for it. Lol' 

'Honestly that is a diabolical prank. Its was probably teenagers at Walmart,' another weighed in.

'Kids are wild. You never know what to expect, especially with little boys,' the mom added to People. 'They are a different kind.'
