An Arizona mother fought off a man who allegedly attacked her and her one-year-old daughter inside their home in the city of Buckeye.

Bella Torres alleges the suspect, whom she had never seen before, came to her doorstep last Friday and asked to use the restroom.

“All he says is, ‘Can I use your restroom?’ And, as he says restroom, he starts to charge at me and grabs my neck,” Torres told 12 News.

Torres alleges the man forced her to the ground, kicked her daughter, and demanded she remove her clothes. She managed to get outside to scream for help, then continued fighting him.

Security cameras installed at Torres’s home captured part of the incident. In the footage, Torres can be heard saying, “What the f–k is wrong with you?” as she tries to block the suspect.

The suspect says, “I am on drugs,” before offering a bizarre explanation that Torres’s boyfriend sent him, claiming, “He told me he was into this.”

When Torres asked for her husband’s name, the suspect remained silent. The encounter ended when Torres’s husband returned home in his car and the suspect ran off.

The 20-year-old suspect, Adrian Ayala (right), stands alongside his attorney during his arraignment.

Surveillance footage helped police arrest the suspect within 24 hours. Authorities identified him as 20-year-old Adrian Ayala.

During the arraignment, Ayala’s attorney claimed he had been invited by Torres’s husband to participate in a consensual role-play scenario.

The judge stated that even if the husband had agreed to such a scenario, it would not constitute a valid legal defense.

Ayala was released on a $25,000 secured appearance bond and is expected back in court later in the week, the news outlet reported.
