MS NOW star Joe Scarborough flew into a rage while discussing the current state of the Democratic Party on Monday's Morning Joe.
Scarborough, 63, had just heard a snippet of New York Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's Sunday interview with ABC News.
Ocasio-Cortez, 36, was asked about Wisconsin gubernatorial candidate Francesca Hong and her past calls to 'cancel Thanksgiving' and abolish prisons. Both women are devout democratic socialists.
The rep said it was her 'understanding' Hong had 'moved away' from such beliefs, as she had done too. She quipped that the 'Woke 1 [era] was crazy.'
Scarborough was left unsatisfied with the response.
He first warned 'the reason' so many people were discussing the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) was the success - and constant criticism from conservatives - of New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani.
'But you also have people in New York City that have been saying some whacked-out things,' the former Florida congressman continued, seemingly referencing 32-year-old democratic-socialist Assemblywoman Darializa Avila Chevalier.
'I think most mainstream voters would say they're whacked out things, when they're talking about going to pro-Hamas rallies the day after Hamas slaughtered more jews than on any day since the Holocaust.'

Chevalier has faced flak for her initial refusal to condemn Hamas and her attendance at a controversial October 8, 2023, pro-Palestinian rally.
She clinched the Democratic nomination for New York’s 7th Congressional District back in June days after condemning the group for the first time and was endorsed by the DSA.
'I think 90 percent of Americans would think that is abhorrent,' Scarborough said, before finding himself screaming at the top of his lungs in visible frustration.
'You know, again, they'll try to blur lines, going, "oh, they just don't support healthcare for all." No. We are not saying that. We just [don't] support hate speech.'
He compared the situation to that of the 2024 election, when 'you couldn't watch an NFL game without seeing three hundred, "taxpayers are going to pay for trans surgeries for convicts" ads on NFL games,' he said.
'And even though they still pretend that did move viewers, I think the Trump campaign spent $30 million on those ads, and it moved working-class men. Working-class white men. Working-class black men. Working-class Hispanic men. It just did.
'And the Democrats have their head in the sand.'

Scarborough urged high-ranking members like Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries to take heed.
'Because the Democratic Party has a choice to make.'
'There's nothing wrong with the Democrats supporting economic justice, there's nothing wrong with the democrats supporting, you know cutting taxes, or getting rid of the Trump taxes, and making billionaires pay more in taxes. That's legitimate,' he said.
'"Healthcare for all, healthcare is unaffordable." That is something most Americans would agree with.
'But please, I don't need people telling me, "Oh you have to just turn a blind eye to people saying that women getting raped on October 7 didn’t matter, in the grand scheme of things."
'Americans are not going to support that.
'This is not about me, this is about the Democrats once again fumbling the football on the two yard line when they have a chance to make great gains, but being so woke – I don’t know if you want to call it woke 1, woke 2 or woke 3 – but being too woke to call out the obvious.'

'I swear to God! It’s really – it’s crazy that we’re even having this conversation!' he said, shouting at this point.
'If somebody says a woman being raped doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things, it's OK to call that person out and demand that candidates distance themselves from those people - of you want to rule over a party and win elections.
'If somebody says going to a rally the day after Hamas slaughters more jews than any time since the Holocaust, it's OK for Chuck Schumer, it's OK for Hakeem Jeffries to call that despicable and demand that people distance themselves from that. That's OK.'
As to why he was calling attending to the situation now, a visibly irate Scarborough again asserted: 'Because it seems an awful lot like what was happening in 2024, when Democrats couldn’t get out of their own way to win an election they should have won!'
Jonathan Lemire, riffing of the host's earlier metaphor, added: 'Democrats have the ball at the two-yard line, now they have to call the right play.'
Avila Chevalier unseated AIPAC-backed Adriano Espaillat in the race for NY 13, a congressional district representing uptown Manhattan and Kingsbridge in the Bronx.
Claire Valdez, another DSA member, emerged as the winner of the NY 7 primary as well.
Hong has a big polling lead ahead of her race on Tuesday, where a win would likely thrust her into a faceoff with presumptive Republican nominee Tom Tiffany come November.
The state representative's odds of winning the primary are currently more than 95 percent, according to the prediction market Kalshi.
