Morocco is taking an ambitious step towards hosting the 2030 World Cup. The country of the “Atlas Lions” plans to build the largest football stadium on Earth, named “Stade Hassan II” to host the matches in four years.
The new arena will be located in the El Mansouria region, about 38 kilometers north of Casablanca, and will have a total capacity of 115,000 spectators. The stadium is also set to impress with its extremely modern architecture, which envisages the installation of 32 monumental entrances, some of which will also integrate hanging gardens and landscaped recreational spaces.
The complex will spread over an area of about 100 hectares and will not be just a football arena. The project includes park areas, sports facilities and public spaces that will transform the area into a modern sports and entertainment a center for anyone who wants to take a breath of fresh air.
For the most special guests, 12,000 VIP seats are planned, located on five separate levels, which provide maximum comfort and excellent visibility of the pitch.
Preparations for the project are already underway, after Morocco was officially approved to be the main co-host of the 2030 World Cup along with Spain and Portugal. The remarkable World Cup on three continents will also host matches in the countries of Uruguay, Argentina and Paraguay. If implemented as planned, the “Stad Hassan II” will become a global symbol of football and one of the most impressive sports facilities ever built by human hands.
