An MSNBC reporter was left stunned after being told by a New Yorker that he didn't view Donald Trump as a threat to democracy.
The reporter brought up Kamala Harris' repeated remark that Trump is a 'threat to democracy'.
'How does that message resonate with you?' the reporter asked.
The man paused for several seconds, before answering: 'It doesn't.'
The reporter pressed on: 'Why not?'. He replied: 'Because it feels political to me. It feels like a line that's being used, as should be used.'
This man told an MSNBC reported that Kamala Harris and Tim Walz's frequent attacks on Donald Trump as a 'threat to democracy' make no difference to him

Speaking on Monday, Trump told thousands of his supporters at a rally in Georgia: 'I'm not a Nazi. I'm the opposite of a Nazi. The way they talk is so disgusting'.
'My father — I had a great father, tough guy. He used to always say, never use the word Nazi. Never use that word,' said Trump.
He also attacked Harris for using bad language on a hot mic and hit back at Michelle Obama for attacking his mental abilities and history of sex abuse allegations.
She must have touched a nerve with Trump, 78, who would become the oldest U.S. president to be inaugurated if he wins November's election.
He railed against her on social media during the day, and opened his speech by punching back.
'You know who's nasty to me? Michelle Obama,' said Trump after taking the stage in Georgia.
'I always tried to be so nice and respectful. She opened up a little bit of something. She was nasty. Shouldn't be that way. That was a big mistake that she made.'
The MSG rally was also blasted by Barack Obama who called on people to 'reject the politics' of Trump and his supporters.
Speaking at a rally for Kamala Harris in Philadelphia on Monday, he noted the warmup speakers were 'saying the most racist, sexist, bigoted, stereotypes. One guy called Puerto Rico "an island of garbage".'

Donald Trump's campaign has disavowed itself from a joke made about Puerto Rico during the rally at Madison Square Garden on Sunday
'She is the devil. She is the anti-Christ. At her rally last week, she said that Jesus Christ's followers are not welcomed at her rallies,' Rem said.
And comedian Tony Hinchcliffe went viral after he called Puerto Rico as a 'floating island of garbage'.
'I don't know if you guys know this, but there's literally a floating island of garbage in the middle of the ocean right now. I think it's called Puerto Rico,' he told the rally.
In another lewd remark, he added: 'These Latinos, they love making babies too. Just know that. They do. They do. There's no pulling out. They don't do that. They come inside. Just like they did to our country'.
Many Republicans, including Trump, disavowed Hinchcliffe's remarks. Hinchcliffe later said he was joking, noting he is a comedian.
