MSNBC announced that Andrea Mitchell will leave her role as a network anchor after 16 years in the role.

In sharing the news, the network said Mitchell will transition to a “broader role at NBC News.”

“In my heart and soul, I am first and foremost a reporter and a storyteller,” Mitchell said in a video shared online alongside the network’s announcement. “It’s why when we launched this program in 2008, now the longest-running daytime program on MSNBC, we called it Andrea Mitchell Reports. Our hour has always been driven by my reporting on politics and foreign policy, as well as the reporting of the best correspondents and analysts in the field.”

Exactly what I was going to say. I recall from the 1990s Mitchell was one of Bill Clinton's top propagandists. She only went downhill from there.

I’ll be diplomatic....I wish her nothing but the worst for her. She has made the world worse off with her in it. Good riddance.

Yeah, but she has a lifetime tenure as a partisan assh*le.

her and Bash on CNN are the worst...trip and stumble trying to read a teleprompter. Just plain dumb. At least Erin Burnett likes to show off her pups.
