Former GOP Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia raked President Donald Trump over the coals again yesterday after she received a campaign email asking whether he had done something wrong.
The feisty America First booster laid out Trump’s sins against his base — the war in Iran and protecting rapists in the Epstein files among them.
MTG has been waging rhetorical war on Trump and the Republican Party since she left Congress and then bolted the party because of its Israel First foreign policy positions. Trump has been furious at Greene ever since she pushed legislation to release the Epstein files. She had something to say about them last week.

Betrayed by Trump
The MTG-Trump feud began last year when she sided with Democrats and outgoing GOP U.S. Representative Thomas Massie of Kentucky on legislation to release the Epstein files. She knew she would face a MAGA-cult primary challenger, so decided to retire from Congress come January 2026.
“Americans are used by the Political Industrial Complex of both Political Parties, election cycle after election cycle, in order to elect whichever side can convince Americans to hate the other side more,” she wrote:
And the results are always the same.
No matter which way the political pendulum swings, Republican or Democrat, nothing ever gets better for the common American man or woman.
The debt goes higher.
Corporate and global interests remain Washington’s sweethearts.
American jobs continue to be replaced whether it’s by illegal labor or legal labor by visas or just shipped overseas.
Complaining about tough financial times for Americans — notably those who voted for Trump — Greene noted that she had been a major Trump supporter, but was repaid with broken campaign promises.
“I have fought harder than almost any other elected Republican to elect Donald Trump and Republicans to power, traveling the country for years, spending millions of my own money, missing precious time with my family that I can never get back, and showing up in places like outside the New York Courthouse in Collect Pond Park against a raging leftist mob as Trump faced Democrat lawfare,” she said in November 2025.
Yet Trump welcomes into the GOP Deep State elites who “hate him” and backstabbed him.
“Loyalty should be a two way street and we should be able to vote our conscience and represent our district’s interest because our job title is literally, ‘Representative,’” she continued:
America First should mean America First and only Americans First, with no other foreign country ever being attached to America First in our halls of government.
And she did not deserve to be called a “traitor” as Trump called her.
Trump Gloats
After her announcement, Trump gloated about her upcoming departure from Congress.
“Marjorie ‘Traitor’ Brown, because of PLUMMETING Poll Numbers, and not wanting to face a Primary Challenger with a strong Trump Endorsement (where she would have no chance of winning!), has decided to call it ‘quits,’” he wrote on Truth Social in 2025:
Her relationship with the WORST Republican Congressman in decades, Tom Massie of Kentucky, also known as Rand Paul Jr. because he votes against the Republican Party (and really good legislation!), did not help her. For some reason, primarily that I refused to return her never ending barrage of phone calls, Marjorie went BAD.

After departing Congress, Greene predicted a conservative insurrection against Trump, and by July, was planning a third party with podcaster Tucker Carlson. He quit the GOP after Trump broke a key campaign promise and attacked Iran on behalf of Israel.
Forming such a party will take time. But “serious conversations [are] happening,” she said. The new effort will require Americans “to step up because it’s not going to be a couple of players like Tucker and I and a few others that can roll up our sleeves and get this done.”
Trump’s Email
Having received a campaign email from Trump, Greene answered in a 307-word attack.
“Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor,” the email begins, “did I do something wrong?” Greene could have (but didn’t) opened her answer with, “How much time do you have?”
“So yes, actually you did do something wrong President Trump, let’s first start with your broken campaign promises,” Greene replied on X:
You protected your pedophile rapists friends instead of women who were raped when they were just teenage girls and you STILL REFUSE to release the Epstein files.
You started an unprovoked war with Iran that the vast majority of Americans do NOT support. You killed hundreds of children at a school in Iran and innocent people and are responsible for 21 U.S. service members deaths and 865 wounded. Your stupid war that you claim you have won like 50 times has destroyed our bases in the Middle East and hundreds of billions of dollars worth of military equipment and weapons, while depleting our weapons and ammunitions.
Greene said Trump is “funding and aiding genocide” in Gaza, where 22,000 children have been “murdered.”
She also thinks there are “basics” that the president “is supposed to guarantee to its citizens”:
Affordable cost of living and affordable fuel in which you have 100% failed to deliver and actually driven inflation and irresponsibly driven the cost of gasoline and diesel to record high levels.
So did you do something wrong?
Yes in summary, YOU are the snake that you warned us all about in the poem you read over and over.
Taylor Greene was referring to the poem by Oscar Brown Jr. that Trump has read publicly.

As for the Epstein files, last week, MTG answered an X post from Trump sycophant Eric Daugherty, who posted video of Trump’s saying he won’t “go after” Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton, or Barack Hussein Obama because “you can’t treat the presidency with disrespect.”
“And there it is,” the former congresswoman wrote:
The Epstein files are so bad and he won’t go after all his enemies he always said he would go after because he knows they will all come after him for so much worse.
This is a public plea deal.
