An unidentified lottery winner in Wales is running out of time to collect a £12 million jackpot that could transform their life.
The winner bought the ticket somewhere in Rhondda Cynon Taf, Wales.
It has remained unclaimed for nearly four months since the draw.
With the clock ticking, the fortunate ticket holder has until December 3 to come forward and secure the enormous payout.
If no one steps forward before that deadline, the entire sum, plus any accumulated interest, will be redirected to support National Lottery-funded projects across the United Kingdom.
The prize represents the largest of 11 outstanding National Lottery wins currently awaiting collection, which together exceed £17.4million.
The numbers drawn on June 6 2026 were 8, 10, 26, 30, 35 and 42, and the ticket in question matched every single one.
Despite the life-altering amount at stake, the holder has yet to make contact with lottery organisers.

Nearly four months have now passed since those six numbers were pulled, and the deadline is just over two months away.
Under National Lottery regulations, if no valid claim is submitted by December 3, the full jackpot and all interest it has generated will be distributed among good causes backed by the lottery across the UK.
The mystery surrounding the winner's identity, and whether they even realise they hold the ticket, continues to deepen.
Anyone holding a winning ticket worth more than £50,000 is required to collect their prize in person, according to National Lottery rules.

This means the Welsh winner cannot simply have the funds transferred remotely and must instead arrange a face-to-face appointment.
To begin the claims process, winners need to telephone the National Lottery on 0333 234 44 33, where they can register their win and schedule a time to pick up their prize.
Given that the December 3 cutoff is now barely nine weeks away, time is increasingly pressing for the Rhondda Cynon Taf ticket holder to make that call and secure their £12million windfall before it slips away permanently.
Beyond the headline-grabbing Welsh jackpot, a further 10 prizes remain uncollected across the country.
These include five separate £1million Lotto wins.
Unclaimed tickets were purchased in areas ranging from the Borough of Tameside and Cheshire East to Newcastle-under-Lyme, the City of Wakefield and Richmond upon Thames in London.
Two Set For Life prizes, each paying £10,000 monthly for a year, are also awaiting their owners, one bought in North Northamptonshire and another in Lambeth, London.
Rounding out the list are a £1million EuroMillions UK Millionaire Maker prize from the New Forest area, a EuroMillions win of £365,868.20 in Birmingham, and a £58,409.30 EuroMillions prize in Dorset.
