An Alabama FedEx driver realized she was stuck on an abandoned bridge with no way to the other side in tense footage.
Raven Edwards, 26, was arrested and accused of driving under the influence after she drove a mail truck through a deteriorating wooded path in Winston County on January 18.
But the driver has maintained her innocence - claiming she was not at all drunk and was following her GPS. Edwards said she only failed her field sobriety test because she was nervous.
In the shocking dashcam footage captured before her arrest, she does not appear concerned - until the journey down the decaying bridge starts to get bumpy.
Edwards seemingly begins to notice something is wrong when she abruptly stops driving, but she only looks down at her lap before continuing through the destroyed path.
Footage shows the unsuspecting driver jolting in her seat as she continues driving through the eerie route. The road ahead is covered with fallen trees.
Finally, the truck comes to a jarring halt when the narrow road is too blocked by debris for Edwards to continue.

After a moment of silence, she lets out a grunt of defeat before exclaiming: 'I'm scared! I'm scared, baby.'
Moments after Edwards found herself in the absurd situation, police arrived at the scene and arrested her with a DUI, according to Cullman Daily.
The Winston County Sheriff's office told DailyMail.com Edwards was booked into county jail just after 12:15 am and has since been bonded out.
Edwards has denied being under the influence, telling Cullman Daily that the GPS misled her down the path that looked straight out of a horror film.

Had she kept driving, she may have reached a portion of the bridge that did not have a solid bottom - just steel bars that cannot be driven over.
In a Facebook plea, Christina Shields, Edwards' cousin, told people to be kind and empathetic. She claimed Edwards is being falsely accused of driving while intoxicated.
Shields alluded to her cousin struggling with substance abuse in the past, but asserted that she was sober when she was arrested.

She wrote: 'Please keep my cousin in your prayers instead of laughing, making jokes, or being ugly.
'You never know what awful things someone has endured or is currently enduring in their lives. You never know just how close someone is to giving it all up.
'Addiction is a disease and it does not discriminate. It doesn’t take much to be a decent human being.'
Shields said Edwards told her she was not at all drunk and was just 'shook up' about the accident.
'She was having a panic attack and they weren’t listening to her. She was new to the area, had just moved there and started this route,' Shields wrote.
'We all know how crazy GPS can be. I believe she’ll be able to beat the case.'
She also claimed that Edwards got her blood draw and a hair follicle test after her arrest to prove her innocence and immediately hired a lawyer to fight the accusations.
A staff member was able to confirm that Edwards had her blood drawn for a test, but could not reveal the results when approached by DailyMail.com.
The video has evoked strong viewer reactions, which some people showing support for Edwards.

Others seemed a bit skeptical of her claim to sobriety, with one user writing: 'She could have died. I hope this wakes her up and she gets the help she needs.'
Edwards has not publicly responded to the FedEx debacle, but she commented on her cousin's post: 'If anyone has questions y'all can call me or text me just saying.'
