Lottery players across Britain are being urged to double-check their EuroMillions tickets after incorrect winning numbers were initially distributed following Tuesday night's draw.
The error occurred when an extra number was mistakenly added to the National Lottery's winning line-up.
The mistake was only discovered hours after the draw and had been widely circulated, including through news outlets worldwide.
The Press Association has been identified as the source of the error and has since issued a correction.
