Nepal rescue operations have been suspended after a dammed lake over the border in Tibet has burst its banks.
Nepali police confirmed signs of a second flood as river water began to rise.
Officials in Nepal's Rasuwa district have also said they are aware of the situation.
Rescue operations, led by the Nepal Army, have been suspended for 90 minutes.
Helicopter rescue operations in the flood-hit Rasuwa district were stopped, and locals were seen rushing up the hill, according to a witness.
Before the burst, search-and-rescue teams were combing through debris-filled valleys and hillsides.
Close to 1,000 people are still unaccounted for following this week's devastating flood.
At least 362 people have been confirmed dead.

The flooding is believed to have been caused by a glacier collapse that sent a torrent of rock, ice and mud crashing into Himalayan river systems, striking border regions of Nepal and China's Tibet.
Currently, 33 British nationals, including a 13-year-old girl and a 14-year-old boy, remain among the missing.
Yesterday, it was announced that the UK government would pledge £5million in emergency aid.
