Nepo babies rule the red carpet at the exclusive Vanity Fair Oscars bash - so do YOU know who they are?

Nepo babies ruled the red carpet at the Vanity Fair Oscars party on Sunday night. 

The invite-only soiree is the most exclusive and official Academy Award afterparty, with only the A-list securing themselves an invite. 

So the offspring of the rich and famous had all eyes on them as they posed up a storm for the star-studded event at Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts. 

Several of these nepo babies have carved out a successful career in their own right and landed an invite to the party without their parents. 

So how many do you recognise? And can you guess who their famous parents are? 

Esther McGregor 

This nepo baby is Esther McGregor - the daughter of actor Ewan McGregor and his ex-wife, producer Eve Mavrakis. 

Esther, 23, has followed in her father's acting footsteps and even starred alongside him as Tetha Grig in the 2022 Disney+ miniseries, Obi-Wan Kenobi.

That same year, the actor stopped by The Late Late Show With James Corden and opened up about working with his daughter.

'I'm sure everybody thinks she got the job because of me, but really she didn't. She auditioned for the role,' he expressed.

'You don't really know with your kids until that moment when I was acting with her and it felt really normal and natural.'

Esther is also a model and appeared in campaigns for brands such as Miu Miu, Celine and in 2018, appeared in a Fendi ad with her older sister, Clara.

Iris and Maude Apatow 

Iris and Maude Apatow are the daughters of celebrated producer Judd Apatow and Hollywood star Leslie Mann. 

The pair have both featured in their father's films over the years and Judd was sure to bring them along to the Vanity Fair bash. 

Iris, 22, and Maude, 27, found fame as child actresses, landing roles in their dad's films Knocked Up (2007), Funny People (2009), and This Is 40 (2012).

Yet Maude has hit out at the nepo baby label, admitting she felt 'sad' when she inadvertently became the face of the nepo baby discourse after a tweet expressing their shock about her famous parents went viral. 

She told Net-a-Porter: 'At first it was sad. I try not to let it get to me because I obviously understand that I’m in such a lucky position. 

'A lot of people [in a similar position] have proven themselves over the years, so I’ve got to keep going and make good work.'

Maude has gone on to star in Euphoria, while Iris appeared on the Netflix series Love.

Damian Hurley 

Damian Hurley is the son of successful model and actress Elizabeth Hurley and the late businessman Steve Bing. 

He's no stranger to a glitzy soirée, having been raised with Elton John and Hugh Grant as godfathers, but despite his many showbiz connections, Damian says he has 'managed to escape a lot of the fire of the nepo-baby stuff' thanks to his work ethic.

'Anyone who looks at me has gone, "Oh, actually, hang on, you've been working exceptionally hard since you were 15 years old", he told The Sunday Times last year, referring to his past modelling career and teen acting role opposite his mother in The Royals.

The model and photographer has now moved into filmmaking, with his directorial debut, Strictly Confidential, starring his mother Liz.

The movie buff has actually been making short films since he was eight-years-old, revealing that his mother's ex boyfriend and his godfather Hugh has starred in a few and was the one who advised him to turn it into a career.

His mother is his biggest fan, agreeing to star in the racy scenes of Strictly Confidential which Damian has insisted felt 'totally normal' to direct.

Zoey Deutch 

Zoey Deutch is the daughter of actress and director Lea Thompson and film and television director Howard Deutch.

She is now best-known for her roles in Set It Up, The Politician, Zombieland: Double Tap and Before I Fall.

Lea is well-recognised for her portrayal of Lorraine Baines-McFly in the Back to the Future film trilogy but has starred in more than 30 films.

Meanwhile, Howard worked in collaboration with filmmaker John Hughes and famously directed two of his works - Pretty in Pink and Some Kind of Wonderful

Speaking about growing up in Hollywood, Zoey previously said it gave her a 'unique perspective' on show business.

In 2018, she told Capitol File magazine how her background helped prepare her for the lights, camera and action of Hollywood.

She said: 'Look, all artists pull from their personal experiences, and anyone who tells you that isn't the case is out of their mind, but growing up in this business definitely gave me a unique perspective on the job.'

Iris Law 

Iris Law is the daughter of Hollywood star Jude Law and British actress Sadie Frost. 

She started her career in modelling as a teenager and has worked with campaigns for Miu Miu, Calvin Klein, and Versace.

She recently dipped her toe in the acting pool, being cast as Soo Catwoman in the 2022 miniseries Pistol, for which she shaved her head.

The model, 24,  previously said her parents, who divorced in 2003 following six years of marriage, had given her normality in her childhood despite their A-list status. 

She said: ‘My dad was really young. He’d had all his kids [with Frost] by 30. Mum, too. She also had a baby face. I can never tell [her age] in pictures, I’ll say, “What, you had three kids by that age?” She looks 17.’

Recalling her own memories of that time eating snacks on Primose Hill, she said: 'My parents weren’t rock ’n’ roll when I was growing up, they were just my parents,’ [she insists].

‘Everyone’s parents were rock ’n’ roll when they were young. That’s not a crazy thing.’

Sofia Richie 

Sofia Richie is the daughter of superstar singer Lionel Richie and his second wife Diane Alexander. 

She began modeling at age 14 with a feature in Teen Vogue before going on to feature in editorials for Elle, Seventeen and Vanity Fair. 

Sofia previously revealed that she didn't want to become a musician because of her fear of being called a nepo baby.

Sofia said: 'I spent a lot of time just trying to find my place in the world. I think everyone wants to be like their parents when they’re growing up, and I admired my dad so much, and that drove me down a music path for a moment. But it didn’t feel right for me.

'And then everyone told me, "You should be an actor!" I tried that for a period, but that wasn’t me either.

'I didn’t have the experience, and I didn’t want to be one of those kid celebrities that got the role because my dad is who he is.'

She continued: 'So I was like, "You know what? I know I’m not cut out for this. Let me just be myself".'

Sofia added that having Lionel as a father did help her navigate being in the spotlight however, and gushed that he was her 'role model'.

She said: 'I learned how to deal with people knowing who you are from my dad. He handles it with such grace. He embraces everyone who comes up to him.

'He’s appreciative, he’s thankful. He’s taught me to never have that ‘Oh god, not today’ attitude. He’s another level of megastar, and my whole life I’ve watched him.

'I’ve never seen him say no to a picture. I’ve never seen him be rude to anyone who walks up to him on the street. That’s been my role model.'

Margaret Qualley 

Margaret Qualley is the daughter of actress Andie MacDowell and model Paul Qualley.

The Golden Globe nominee, 30, has carved out a very successful career and earned a Vanity Fair party invite as star of Oscar-nominated The Substance.  

Such is her success that Hollywood superstar Andie has claimed that she is experiencing 'reverse nepotism' thanks to Margaret's blossoming career.

The 66-year-old is known for her roles in Four Wedding and a Funeral, Green Card and Groundhog Day, but these days it is her relation to The Substance star Margaret which has made her 'cool.'

During her appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the Cedar Cove actress joked about the boost of fame she is getting thanks to her child's success.

She told the host: 'I am now [what] they always accuse the children of... But I'm now cool because I'm Margaret Qualley's mom and also Jack Antonoff's mother-in-law.

'So it's a double whammy. [I get] letters in the mailbox. "I think you're wonderful," and you know, they're 13!'

Zoe Kravitz 

Zoe Kravitz is the daughter of actress Lisa Bonet and singer Lenny Kravitz. 

She has followed in both her parents' footsteps, venturing into both the acting and music world. 

Zoe made her acting debut in the 2007 romantic comedy film No Reservations and she had further franchise roles in The Divergent Series and the Fantastic Beasts film series. 

She is also the frontwoman of the group Lolawolf, and has contributed to releases from artists such as Drake, Taylor Swift, Rae Sremmurd and Janelle Monáe.

Despite having two famous parents, she previousloy revealed her childhood was surprisingly normal.

'My dad was brought up very old school, very strict - "Yes ma'am, yes sir,"' she said. '

So he's wearing leather pants and a boa, but he would be like, "Did you do your chores today?" Or "That dress is too short!" Seriously, no joke.

'I had chores, I had an allowance - "Yes there's a party going on with Mick Jagger and some models but it's your bedtime."'

While Lenny and Lisa split in 1993 they still have a close relationship. 

Hailey Bieber 

Hailey Bieber is the daughter of actor Stephen Baldwin and his wife Kennya. 

She was signed as a model in her teenage years and has gone on to release her own beauty and skincare line, Rhodes.  

As a member of the prominent Baldwin acting family, Hailey previously spoke about being born into fame and embracing the 'nepo baby' label.

Referencing her father Stephen and Uncle Alec, the privileged stunner said that she is 'very aware' of her own nepotism and leant into it by wearing her nepo baby T-shirt.

'When you’re out and about and people are stopping your dad or uncle and asking for pictures, you start to understand why…that was me being, like, "I’m very aware of the situation … I’m going to wear it loud and proud because you are already labeling me as such and it’s true."'

Lily-Rose Depp 

Lily-Rose Depp is the daughter of Hollywood actor Johnny Depp French singer and model Vanessa Paradis. 

She has followed in both her parents' footsteps, pursuing a career in modelling and acting. 

Yet the Nosferatu star has slammed the idea that she has landed roles due to family connections, saying: 'Nothing is going to get you the part except for being right for the part'.

However the model - who is set to star in HBO's upcoming series The Idol - did admit that who she is helped her 'get her foot in the door' but that she still has to work hard.

She said: 'The internet seems to care a lot about that kind of stuff.

'People are going to have preconceived ideas about you or how you got there, and I can definitely say that nothing is going to get you the part except for being right for the part.

'The internet cares a lot more about who your family is than the people who are casting you in things. Maybe you get your foot in the door, but you still just have your foot in the door. There's a lot of work that comes after that.'

On grappling with fame her whole life she added 'Growing up my parents protected my brother [Jack] and me from it as much as possible.

'I know my childhood didn't look like everybody's childhood, and it's a very particular thing to deal with, but it's also the only thing that I know.'…

Though confronting fame as an adult has been 'a weird thing to navigate,' she admitted: 'It's different experiencing it firsthand rather than by proxy. I guess it's something that I've had to make my own way with.'

Tallulah, Rumer and Scout Willis 

Tallulah, Rumer and Scout Willis are the daughters of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis. 

Bruce and Demi were married from 1987 until 2000 and have remained amicable co-parents to their three children. 

Tallulah, 31, has gone into the fashion industry, and she launched her own clothing brand, Wyllis, during the pandemic. 

Rumer, 36, has followed in her parents' acting footsteps. She made her film debut opposite her mother in the 1995 coming-of-age drama Now and Then. 

Scout, 33, at first pursued acting with roles in Demi's 1995 film The Scarlet Letter and Bruce's 1999 film Breakfast of Champions. She has since been focusing her attention on music. 

Kaia Gerber 

Kaia Gerber is the daughter of supermodel Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber. 

She has followed in her mother's footsteps since debuting at Fashion Week in 2017 and won Model of the Year at the British Fashion Awards the following year.

Kaia, 23, has also pursued a career in acting, starring in 2016 film Sister Cities and numerous other films and series since. 

She previously came under fire for claiming her famous family is not the reason for her early success, insisting that if nepotism 'actually was what people make it out to be we'd see even more of it'.

Kaia, who has landed a string of high-profile acting gigs in recent years, said that despite her famous lineage she earned her roles herself because 'no artist is going to sacrifice their vision for someone's kid.'

She downplayed her parents' role in her career trajectory, as she said: 'My mom always joked, “If I could call and book a Chanel campaign, it would be for me and not you".'
