Miley has announced her highly anticipated tenth studio album, Bass Persuades, will be out September 18. She will also make her return to the stage, announcing a two-night stand at Hollywood Bowl on October 16 and 18. Miley shared, "Music takes hold of us. We feel it, sing it, sometimes dance to it, let it out and carry on. It is powerful, vulnerable, sweet and strong. Heart full, heartache, every part of life in between. That’s what the title means to me. Thank you for being a part of making my wildest dreams come true. I sincerely hope you love this album." The first single, "Bass Persuades" is out now.
BTS launched the final chapter of the North American leg of 'BTS WORLD TOUR 'ARIRANG" with performances at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. The tour is their highest-grossing tour and on opening night, they drew around 70,000 fans, bringing total attendance across the North American leg to approximately 1.7 million to date.
BET announced the return of Soul Train Awards airing November 27 and will simulcast on CBS for the first time ever, along with BET HER, VH1, MTV2 and LOGO. The awards will be taped in Chicago, where Don Cornelius launched the original "Soul Train" more than 50 years ago. The show will celebrate artists, music and the enduring legacy of "Soul Train" through a night of performances and special moments.
The Black Music Action Coalition (BMAC) announced the inaugural "Sylvia Rhone Visionary Award" along with the full slate of honorees of the 6th Annual BMAC Gala, taking place at The Beverly Hilton on September 24. The honorees include Nicole Wyskoarko (Sylvia Rhone Visionary Award), Common (BMAC Harry Belafonte Change Agent Award), Patti LaBelle (BMAC Icon Award), Public Enemy (BMAC Social Impact Award), The Team (BMAC Founders Award), Tina Davis (BMAC Clarence Avant Trailblazer Award), and Universal Music Group's Global Impact Team (BMAC 365 Award). Hosted by Kenny Burns, the night will empower guests, artists and industry executives to create meaningful change and to move with purpose alongside BMAC.
The Grammy Museum announced Olivia Rodrigo: the cure unraveled, a two-part exhibition showcasing the handmade sets, props, and artwork created for Olivia Rodrigo's "the cure" music video. Open now until February 22, 2027, the exhibit will give fans an intimate look behind the making of the video, including original props, storyboards, behind the scenes photography and interactive photo opportunities.
Last weekend, the Estate of Michael Jackson and Michael Jackson ONE hosted their annual celebration for the King of Pop's birthday at Michael Jackson ONE Theater inside Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. Fans had to opportunity to attend an exclusive panel discussion hosted by the Estate that included Michael's son, Prince Jackson and Rich + Tone Talauega, the acclaimed choreographers who worked closely with Michael as back-up dancers and choreographers. Following the panel, there was a specially created performance by the cast of Michael Jackson ONE to "Workin' Day and Night" from Michael's album "Off the Wall," which has now spent 200 weeks on the Billboard 200.
