Netflix is rolling out a new feature that lets you save and share your favorite scenes as it prepares to release Squid Game Season 2 in December.

The new feature, called Moments, allows you to "easily save, relieve, and share your favorite Netflix scenes." It's detailed in a blog on the official site featuring gifs showing how it works. Netflix viewers on their phones can select "Moments" in the pop-up menu, after which it is viewable along with a time stamp on the My Netflix tab.

According to Netflix, you can revisit your Moments at any time on your phone, and it can serve as something like a bookmark that lets you pick up directly from the scene in your favorite show. The moment can also be shared on Instagram, WhatsApp, SnapChat, and Messenger. It's unclear whether the feature is accessible on standard televisions or browsers. Netflix says it plans to expand the feature in the future.

Looking ahead to the rest of the year, Netflix's biggest remaining release is Squid Game Season 2, which is set to come out on December 26. Arcane Season 2, which will be released in three separate acts starting November 9, is another highlight.

Netflix is promising more content in 2025 after a "patchier than normal" 2024 due to last year's strikes, but it continues to enjoy strong earnings while adding 5.1 million new subscribers over the last quarter. Thinks are less rosy on the gaming side of Netflix's business in the wake of its decision to shutter its AAA gaming studio led by Halo veteran Joseph Staten.
