New Orleans attacker, Shamsud-Din Jabbar, had a bomb-making station in his Texas home and a page of the Quran open to a passage that read, "they fight in Allah's cause, and slay and are slain; a promise binding," reports the New York Post.

Jabbar, 42, drove a pickup truck into a crowd of revelers on Bourbon Street early New Year's Day, killing 14 people and injuring dozens more.

Jabbar, a Texas-born U.S. citizen and Army veteran who served in Afghanistan, also posted a series of videos on Facebook in the hours and minutes leading up to the attack, Christopher Raia, the deputy assistant director of the FBI's Counterterrorism Division, said at a news conference Thursday.

Investigators confirmed he was ideologically associated with the terrorist group ISIS.
