At least 10 people were killed and dozens injured after a driver plowed a car into a large crowd on Canal and Bourbon Street in New Orleans at approximately 3:15 a.m. ET on New Year's Day

City officials said 30 injured people, including a police officer, have been transported by NOEMS to five local hospitals

Police plan to hold a news conference Wednesday morning to discuss the incident
