FBI Deputy Assistant Director Christopher Raia confirmed Thursday that Shamsud-Din Jabbar acted alone in the horrific New Year’s Eve truck attack on Bourbon Street in New Orleans, which killed 15 people and left dozens more injured.

Speaking to reporters Thursday morning, Raia called the incident an “act of terrorism” and a “premeditated and evil act.”
