A brand new Roblox FPS has gone viral with 4 million players in the first day, thanks to its incredibly realistic graphics.
Roblox is home to countless experiences spanning every genre imaginable, from cozy farming to beekeeping and horror, but most share the platform’s iconic blocky art style. However, one new FPS is proving that developers don’t have to stick to that formula.
TTK Testing is a new shooter inspired by tactical FPS titles like Ready or Not, while also incorporating subtle bodycam-style visual effects that give the game an even more realistic feel. At first glance, many players would struggle to believe it’s actually running inside Roblox, thanks to the impressive graphics and gunplay.
Roblox’s TTK Testing wows fans with “crazy” graphics
Fans have naturally fallen in love with the game, so much so that it has already surpassed 40,000 likes and attracted more than 4 million visits in its first day. What’s even more impressive is that the game is currently described as an early testing environment, with much more content still planned for the future, so it’s not even finished.
TTK Testing is currently a free-for-all FPS experience that places players into a map with a variety of different weapons to destroy any enemy they come up against.
While the current version is relatively straightforward, its realistic visuals, satisfying gunplay, and impressive performance have helped it stand out among Roblox’s massive library of games.
The developer, who works on the project during their free time, revealed that TTK Testing has already become one of Roblox’s top trending experiences, highlighting just how quickly players have embraced the shooter.
Of course, fans have flooded the game with praise as its popularity continues to grow. “It still blows my mind how optimized this game is… crazy s**t,” one player wrote. Another echoed the same: “It’s because it looks fantastic, and honestly, I love the gun play, keep it up! I’m enjoying it.”
“This game is so good, crazy how this game is on Roblox. I’m excited to see a more finished version of this game,” commented another, with many asking for “more updates to this.”
According to the developer, those updates are on the way with plans for co-op PvE gameplay, squad AI mechanics, story-based Door Kickers-inspired scenarios and missions, as well as team-based multiplayer modes.
