Israel marked the first anniversary of the Oct. 7 horror attacks by releasing never-before-seen footage of its soldiers fighting back against some of the terrorists, who shot at drones.

The newly released footage shows Israel Defense Forces soldiers and border police officers operating in the kibbutz Re’im — not far from where Hamas targeted hundreds of Nova music festival attendees, killing around 1,200 people and taking another 250 as hostages.

Pieced-together clips obtained by The Telegraph show IDF soldiers stealthily crouching behind homes and moving through the kibbutz as Hamas militants launched rockets into Israel.

The Israeli army says the footage also shows a Hamas fighter attempting to shoot at their drone. The video shows the fighter noticing the drone and immediately taking aim as the drone retreats unscathed.

Other footage shows the aftermath of an attack on a police station in Sderot, an area seized by Hamas that Israeli soldiers used gunfire and bulldozers to reclaim.

The clip shows the station up in flames as the Israeli-operated bulldozers move about nearby.

Israel’s year-long military response to the Oct. 7 attack has killed over 41,000 Palestinian people.

The war has also displaced the nearly 2.3 million people who once lived in the Gaza Strip, devastating the region and collapsing its water and sanitation systems, according to Gaza’s health ministry.
