The NFL is taking its time before making a decision on whether to discipline Nick Bosa for flashing a “Make America Great Again” hat in support of Donald Trump’s presidential candidacy during NBC’s “Sunday Night Football” postgame show.

My cursory reading the the rule that is supposedly relevant suggests his actions don’t warrant discipline. The rule talks about affixing slogans etc., to uniforms/helmets, so wearing a hat seems outside that.

I can imagine that Nick Bosa might even like it if the NFL fines him for this; he has a yearly salary of 34 million, so I doubt the fine would be enough to really hurt him, but it would bring a lot more attention to his endorsement of Trump lol.

That MAGA Hat can have you fined, refused service at a restaurant, assaulted by a flat-headed (—la supporter, your car windows broken out, and taken before entry into a sports stadium like it was a deadly weapon. What happened to the First Amendment and the traditional spirit it represents?

I bet people of other nations are laughing at the stupid people of the USA.

How many players were fined because they knelt during the National Anthem?
