Nikki Glaser will be hosting the Golden Globes for 'years to come' after she was praised as one of the ceremony's best ever hosts following Sunday's show.

A source close to the comedian, 40, told DailyMail.com that Glaser has already signed up for next year and wants to make the coveted hosting gig a permanent thing.

'Nikki is looking to make the Golden Globes her job for years to come. She has joked to friends that she wants to be the Ryan Seacrest of the Golden Globes,' they said.

'She has signed on for a few more years but anticipates signing another contract after that and to continue to do it for a very long time,' they continued.

The source also said that the show's producers are hoping that Glaser can help make the long-running awards ceremony relevant again.

'Though the ratings were down this year from last year, there was an overall feeling that it went well and that she was fantastic and as people have seen her performance online after the show and as her star continues to rise, it will only get better and better,' they explained.

'Lots of positive vibes are around her and the show that has had a bit of struggle the past few years. Everyone is looking to see Nikki bringing them back to the prominence they once had, and she is ready to prove they made the right decision.'

Additionally, Deadline is reporting that Glaser will receive a 'significant' pay rise for next year's gig.

She was reportedly paid just over $400,000 for hosting Sunday's show, but will earn more for her second time as host.

Glaser, who already hosts The CW dating shows FBoy Island and Lovers and Liars, is said to have signed a three-year deal with CBS for the Globes.

The comedian recently claimed that she got paid less to host the Golden Globes than a past male host of the event who received a six figure sum.

Glaser, who roasted Hollywood in her opening monologue, revealed: 'I got paid pretty — I'm good with that' during a chat on Monday's episode of SiriusXM’s The Howard Stern Show.

She added: 'There was a past host who said how much he got paid in his monologue and I got less than that, but that’s OK. I’ll get more next year. I feel well paid for what I do. I’m alright.'

The comedian will also receive a significant pay rise for next year's hosting gig

The star appeared to be referring to 2023 host Jerrod Carmichael who said he was offered $500,000 to host and quipped that he took the job solely for the money in a much-derided opening monologue.

In 2024, Jo Koy was labeled 'the worst host ever' as social media blasted him over his dreadful monologue.

'Yo, I got the gig 10 days ago, you want a perfect monologue? Yo, shut up,' Koy said.

Glaser dropped shock jokes about Sean 'Diddy' Combs, Trump and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. during her speech.

She left the superstar audience and viewers reeling as she mentioned the disgraced star's 'freak-offs' and the viral 1,000 bottles of baby oil claims.

Glaser also made reference to Trump's presidential election victory - despite Hollywood's overwhelming support for Democratic nominee, Vice President Kamala Harris as well as a sex joke about Ben Affleck.
