North Korea fires ballistic missiles, South Korea says

North Korea fired a ballistic missile on Monday out to sea off its east coast, South Korea's military said.

Japan's coast guard also said a projectile believed to be a North Korea missile had fallen.

The missile launch, the first in around two months, coincided with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken's visit to Seoul and during a period of political hiatus in South Korea.
