While he was away, Burrow hired Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Olivia Ponton to housesit and guard his residence. The NFL has been dealing with a string of robberies involving players’ homes, leading to a league-wide memo about these occurrences. Burrow hired Ponton to watch his house, which was still robbed. Ponton called her mom, who then called the police. Why were people playing phone tag in this situation? No clue, but the whole situation led to some funny reactions

You know, understanding your opponents tendencies is a core tool in playing sports.
You’d think after this happened to the 1st 2 or 3 high end pro athletes the others would realize they might be next and secure their property accordingly.
Heck, even I knew this was more than just a random thing.

Next steps:
1. The NFL while blame white people for it.
2. When it's pointed out that most robberies were done by blacks, the NFL would say it's because they were oppressed.
